Hello,
My name is Thomas Coulton, and I am a photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin. I was born in the Philadelphia area but have resided in Wisconsin for most of my life. My upbringing in a small farm town has profoundly influenced my perspective and values, emphasizing the virtues of small-town life over the hustle and bustle of urban environments.
I consider myself an Americana photographer, drawn to capturing the remnants of old cars, buildings, and the fading essence of traditional travel and tourism in America. My passion lies in exploring the lesser-known backroads and embarking on long drives with my wife, always on the lookout for potential photographic subjects. I also try to capture some images of my grandson when I have the opportunity, hoping to instill in him a passion for photography.
My photographic repertoire encompasses flowers, landscape, and various other genres that capture my attention and possess the potential to create compelling images. I prioritize capturing the positive aspects of the world through my work, aiming to evoke a sense of peace and tranquility through my photographs.
Ultimately, my goal is to use my camera as a means of storytelling and sharing my experiences with others.
